Bsc Perfusion Technology :

A perfusionist, also known as a clinical perfusionist or a cardiovascular perfusionist, is a specialized healthcare professional who uses the heart-lung machine during cardiac surgery and other surgeries that require a cardiopulmonary bypass to manage the patient's physiological status. The perfusionist is a highly trained member of the cardiothoracic surgical team which consists of cardiac surgeons, anesthesiologists, physician assistants, surgical technologists, and nurses.

Bsc Anaesthesia Technology: 

An anaesthesia technician is an allied healthcare professional. Their main task is to assist Doctors/Surgeons during surgery, by administering the appropriate dose of anesthesia and operating anesthesia equipment whenever required.

They can be seen assisting Doctors/Surgeons in Intensive Care Units (ICU), Emergency wards and departments, and Operation Theatres. Largely, their task is pre-operative. That means they are required before the operation starts, to administer the anesthetic agent to the patient. In some cases, there are also needed to perform the said task during or after surgery.

Bsc Medical Lab Technician:

Medical Laboratory Technologists or Technicians are allied healthcare professionals. Their main task is a diagnosis of disease in patients referred to them by Doctors. In India, Medical Laboratory Technology courses are available in 3 main formats, when it comes to the undergraduate level. Medical technologists work in five major areas of the laboratory ie, in Blood banking, Clinical Chemistry (chemical analysis of body fluids), Hematology (blood-related), Immunology ( the study of the immune system), and Microbiology ( the study of bacteria and other disease organisms).

Bsc Cardiac Care Technology:

Cardiac Care Technologists assist physicians during invasive cardiovascular testing, where a tube is inserted into one of the blood vessels that carry blood into the heart. The primary job of a technician is to perform tasks that require less medical training before and during the procedure so doctors can focus on the results of the test.

Bsc Operation Theater Technology:

Operation Theatre Technicians are allied healthcare professionals. Their tasks include assisting Doctors in Surgery, arranging surgical instruments before surgery, sterilizing instrumentation before surgery, cleaning surgical instruments after surgery, carrying out Surgeons’ commands during surgery, and taking care of anesthesia equipment. Under the setup of a hospital, Operation Theatre technicians are usually part of a team that consists of Doctors, nurses, and other allied healthcare professionals.

Bsc Renal Dialysis Technology:

Renal and dialysis technicians work closely with nurses to treat patients suffering from end-stage renal disease (ESRD). Renal and dialysis technicians work in facilities designed to treat patients suffering from ESRD. These patients lack proper kidney function and must use dialysis to filter their blood. Renal and dialysis technicians prepare patients for dialysis, gain vascular access and monitor the patient during dialysis treatment.

Bsc Optometry:

Optometry and Ophthalmology deal with eye care, but Ophthalmologists are eye Doctors (specializing in eye care after completing MBBS)! On the other hand, optometrists are not considered eye Doctors. An optometrist is capable of diagnosis of ocular diseases. But he/she will have to refer the case to a qualified doctor if the patient needs surgery or advanced treatment. If the problem can be corrected by lenses, spectacles, or minor treatment procedures, an optometrist may take care of the patient.

Medical imaging is the technique and process of creating visual representations of the interior of a body for clinical analysis and medical intervention, as well as visual representation of the function of some organs or tissues (physiology).

Bsc Respiratory Care Technology:

Respiratory Therapists have a duty to examine and deal with patients suffering from breathing or cardiopulmonary disorders. The Respiratory Therapist's main role is to provide medication and aerosol therapy, Blood gas determinations, Airway management, Mechanical ventilation Pulmonary function tests, and Oxygen therapy. Sometimes they also give emergency service to patients having a heart attack or a lung infection. They assist doctors dealing with cardiopulmonary disorders.
