Duration of Bachelor of Physiotherapy: Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) duration is 4 ½ years followed by 6 months internship.
Eligibility for BPT admission: Candidate for admission to BPT course must have passed individually in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English and must have obtained not less than 45% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in the qualifying examination. In respect of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes or Category I, the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology together in the qualifying examination is not less than 40% instead of 45% as above.

1. Is BPT ( Bachelor of Physiotherapy) is Paramedical course?
BPT is not a Paramedical course. It is a professional medical course like BDS or MBBS. We can't consider a bachelor of physiotherapy as a technician course, it is a professional course.
2. Is BPT a Doctor?
Yes, Physiotherapists are doctors and they can use a prefix of Dr. before their name. We have BPT ( 4.5 years) + MPT ( 2 years) + Doctoral degree ( 3 years).
3. Is NEET is compulsory for Admission in BPT?
